The 8 Rules of Engagement The motivating

The Hungarian psychologist, a teacher in California, Sikszentmihalyi identified the features provided, describing the experience of flow (flow).

Here are the characteristics of a situation that will challenge us:
  1. Clear Objectives: expectations and rules activity are properly collected and the goals are achievable with the skills of the actor
  2. balance between the difficulty of the activity and the skills of the actor (the activity is neither too easy nor too difficult it is a motivating challenge)
  3. activity is in itself a source of satisfaction (It is not perceived as a chore)
  4. High degree of concentration on a limited field of consciousness (hyperfocus)
  5. A loss of sense of self-awareness, death of distance between subject and object
  6. Distortion of time perception
  7. direct and immediate feedback. Successes and challenges during the process are immediately identified and adjusted behavior.
